    We invite you to relax and celebrate together with the writer Dace Priede and artist Jenny Francis from Irokeza tribe, USA. From August 11 till 22, 2007 Native American artist, whose art works are unique pictures embroidered in pearl technique, will visit Latvia. Jenny’s visit isn‘t coincidental - it is a response visit to writer Dace Priede, who will celebrate publishing of her book “A ray of the moon over the lake” , which is the II part of the trilogy, “A ray of the moon”. Emotions, adventures, expressed in the book are real facts, they have been experienced in North Dakota reserve (USA), where the writer visited the real Native Americans in the end of 2006, as well as, in the words of the writer, it is a story of love, belief and hope!

 

Characteristics of the Latvia tour:

‘' Meeting of two, to my mind, close cultures, is as a meeting of two friends after long years of separation. I wish that Jenny experiences as wonderful moments as I did in the Native Americans reserve in North Dakota and Pow-wow celebration!”
